Western New England Renal and Transplant Associates (WNERTA) was formed in 1996 by the merger of several well-established nephrology and transplantation groups which had been in practice since 1980. Our group of highly trained health care professionals, including nephrologists, transplantation and vascular access surgeons, renal nurse practitioner and physician assistant, work together collaboratively to provide comprehensive services in the care of renal diseases.
Dedicated to excellence, our professionals are board certified with academic appointments at Tufts University School of Medicine. We are actively engaged in clinical research with ongoing contributions to medical literature. We have an extensive commitment to the teaching of students and residents. In addition, our members are actively involved in other aspects of health care serving on committees and board of hospitals, independent physician associations, physician hospital organizations, managed care companies and professional and specialty societies.
Our health care professionals and affiliated dialysis clinics provide renal services to the Greater Pioneer Valley.
